Pete Grigsby

Director

Pete has been a TV Meteorologist since 1990, & at KMBC-TV 9 In Kansas City since 1999. To accommodate better family hours, Pete switched full-time careers in 2008 by accepting a job with the Blue Springs School District where he now teaches  Meteorology classes & oversees Jag TV productions at Blue Springs South High School. He is also the director of the BSSD Media Network, which includes BSSD Radio & BSSD Television, seen on Comcast Cable channel 15 & AT&T U-verse 99 throughout west-central Missouri. Pete is still part time with KMBC-TV, filling in when needed. He received his BA in Communications (emphasis in broadcasting) from Brigham Young University and a meteorology degree from Western Kentucky University. Pete's successful career all started right out of high school when broadcaster mentor Dale McKinney trained and put Pete on radio, WMDJ FM in Eastern Kentucky (Thank you Dale). Matt Marble

Asst. Director

Matt grew up in Blue Springs and attended Blue Springs High School where he played football, basketball, and ran track. He graduated in 1999 and attended Truman State University where he majored in Communications. After working for Truman recruiting international students and helping with the football team, Matt decided to pursue a career in education and coaching. He is currently the video production instructor at Blue Springs High School and oversees the production of Wildcat TV, a weekly broadcast. Matt is also in charge of the Wildcat Studio for BSSD Radio. He resides with his wife, Adriana, who is a third grade teacher and their two children.

Nick grew up in Blue Springs and graduated from Blue Springs South High School in 2012 where he was actively involved in the beginnings of the media network.  Nick anchored the news updates for BSSD TV from 2010-2012 and hosted the afternoon radio show on BSSD Radio. Nick graduated from the 
University of Missouri in Columbia with a degree in electrical engineering. Nick works full time at Burns & McDonnell.  He is a television and radio consultant for the BSSD Media Network, maintaining the broadcast systems and website.

Nick Mozer

Engineer

Zach graduated from Blue Springs South High School in 2012 where he assisted in shows and production work on BSSD Radio. He is presently attending the 
University of Missouri in Columbia and assists the BSSD Media Network with graphic design and helps to maintain the broadcast systems.
